The Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology celebrated Engineer’s Day on 15-09- 2021 organized by Department of Civil Engineering. The Engineering community across India is celebrating Engineers Day on 15 September every year as a remarkable tribute to the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (popularly known as Sir M V). He is held in high regard as a pre-eminent engineer of India. This event is planned to create awareness to students and faculties on role of engineers in the development of our Nation. The faculty members from various departments have participated. The day was started with reverence for Sir M Visvesvaraya by offering prayer to his statue at 10:30 am in front of the college main Library,

The 5-Day online training presentations by “Dr. V.K. Raina at Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET)”, Bangalore, which took place on 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20th of August 2021. AICTE has sponsored the event and the event was hosted by NCET for Students and Faculties. The aim of the Programme was to make faculty members and students of AICTE approved institutions empowered through exposure to their talk/visit, thereby making them much more relevant and effective towards Nation building. Over the course of five days event, participants from around the Karnataka state and neighboring states Tamilnadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra were present.
Over the course, speaker, Dr. V.K. Raina has discussed about “

While giving overview of the above mentioned topics, speaker has given an insight into lot of things which we couldn’t able to find in any text books and which can only be explained
through the experience of speaker (Dr. V.K. Raina) in practicing those. Speaker has ensured
inclusive and equitable quality topics, through which promoted the learning opportunities.
Speaker insisted the global techniques which needs to be considered for local actions while designing and executing the projects in site. Speaker also highlighted the wrong procedures that are followed in construction industry, and its effects on durability of structures. In overall, 5 sessions were an enlighten topics for all of the faculties and students. All the participants were really thankful for the AICTE-DCP’s scheme through which Dr. Raina is able inspire the faculties and students.
